Let’s not repeat this history
A good number of companies around the world have had an abysmal year, most notably automotive manufacturers. Saturn is gone, Toyota posted its first loss in 60 years, Chrysler and GM declared bankruptcy and thousands have lost their jobs. Some may want to forget the last year altogether. But rather than forget, we hopefully have learned a few things: how to work smarter and more efficiently; and how to not take your job, your coworkers and your customers for granted. This is a history I certainly would rather not repeat. So hopefully after we begin to see things turn around, and we’re all standing on more solid ground, we won’t forget the challenges we’ve faced over the last year.
