Open Minds

How often do you want to be right?  That’s a lot of responsibility—to be right all the time. When you’re dealing with your sales channel, keep an open mind.  They aren’t just there for you to dictate to them.  Ask questions, push back, listen to reason.  If you want to be right all the time, I guess that’s fine, but having the last word doesn’t mean you are right, that anyone else thinks you are, or that someone else doesn’t  have an answer even more right.

Why not go into meetings with an open mind?  Why not listen to someone else’s point of view, and let go of the stress?  If you are open minded, then it’s more likely your team will be more open to you as well.
