Pretend you lost the PowerPoint

If all that you’re sharing is on a PowerPoint slide, you’re just sharing information…information that your audience could likely find in a matter of seconds on the Internet, given suitable motivation. Here’s an idea: give your audience suitable motivation—curiosity, reward, controversy, whatever compelling tool you can conjure—USE IT. Make your audience leave your meeting forever changed and inspired. Nearly any kind of content can be presented compellingly. Instead of phoning it in, come with a taser.
